  1. Six new scouts will be joining the pack (possibly 3 more).

  3. Special thanks to Denise W., Jennifer W. and Sloan Rolando for all their work at the Round-Up
Sloan talked to other Pack leaders and the other pack leaders and no one knew who was in charge. Many parents stayed around waiting for something to happen and then just left. Matt Skelling was asked to speak but then did not speak.

  4. Future Round-ups
    1. Who will be responsible for fliers? May be able to get fliers from Rainbow Council and print on the back of the flier. May be able to send half has many fliers to distribute only to boys. Get all other packs involved in distributing fliers to schools. Get fliers out at beginning of school.
    2. Additional items to consider, business cards, Scout It Outs, etc.
    3. Need check-list for items needed for next Round-up

  5. Joe Novak started contacting den leaders so he can visit all dens before May Pack Night. He will not be visiting Mary Partee’s den as there are 3 boys in the den and all three parents are leaders
Decided not to distribute at Bobcat Madness – will distribute after they have joined and attend the first meeting. We can let them know it’s on the website. Possibly distribute health forms when cub scout receives their center patch.
  6. Joe Novak sent email to Vernessa to get information for care package, but he has not received a reply.
Sherry has info for USO. www.anysoldier.com is a possibility. Sherry is willing to be point person if it doesn’t work out with Vernessa

  7. Status on friends of scouting balance. Should the pack pay the difference?
We will have the D.E. come out and give a presentation about Friends of Scouting at the May Pack Night. We would have free rank awards through February if we meet our goal.

  8. Fundraiser ideas?
  9. Space Derby
For future races it has been suggested that we pre-wind all rockets to ensure they will work properly.

  10. Status of books
Are we buying them? If yes, who will be responsible for purchasing them. Jennifer Woods made the motion. Tim Carr seconded the motion. Susan will inventory what we have an purchase the rest through the Scout Shop.
